Line of Events
Growing up in the Amazon rainforest gave Autumn the rarest of friendships – she finds a lost jaguar cub named Hope. When a tragic event forces Autumn to leave Hope and venture into the unknown of New York, she dreams of returning to the rainforest and her friend many years from now. Autumn, 14 years old and accustomed to city life, discovers that her childhood village is threatened by animal smugglers and decides to return to the Amazon to be with her beloved jaguar. Anja (Emily Bett Rickards) – Autumn’s adorably awkward biology teacher – tries unsuccessfully to dissuade him from this reckless plan. Together with Anja, Autumn embarks on a journey to reunite Hope and save her from those who seek to destroy the rainforest and its wildlife.
